Zafire will be exhibiting again this year at the Service Management Exhibition, demonstrating our web-enabled integrated product, Smart (Service Management and Repair Tracking) software suite. Smart allows you to monitor, understand and respond to the needs of your customers, suppliers and business partners. This year we will be sharing our stand with Momote. Zafire have used Momote’s MX platform Technology to provide the transport of their data to and from PDA devices. Zafire Signs a partnership agreement with Momote. Momote is a UK based technology company who have created the Momote MX Platform. Based on an open XML architecture, the Momote MX Platform facilitates rapid design, deployment and support of mobile applications across multiple devices. By combining high level programming with common elements of pre-written and tested functionality, new secure and scalable mobile applications can be developed, tested and deployed in just a few weeks.

Momote delivers three clear advantages over conventional development environments:

Zafire are pleased to announce their IBM Software, Platinum award, for "Best Solutions Provider 2005". This has been achieved as a result of innovative and ongoing development using IBM U2 products. The award was presented by Fraser Davidson (Vice President IBM Software Group Northern Region), Jeremy Wray (Business Development Executive IBM Software Group) and James Cracknell (double Olympic champion and World Record Holder.)

Zafire Ltd. and Australian based DesignBais say they are looking after your bags at Los Angeles International Airport. The intranet based MultiValue solution written in DesignBais is tracking and routing all luggage that goes through LAX. According to Jonathan Slim, a director of Zafire Ltd, the team used DesignBais Rapid Application Development technology to write a baggage reconciliation system for an international ground handling agent designing screens based on U2 dictionaries,. The system does not require any knowledge of ASP, Java or any other web programming tools as all of the programs and forms are held on the U2 database.

Zafire are please to announce that they have been appointed the EMEA sole distributor for DesignBais ( www.designbais.com ). DesignBais is a functionally rich toolset that allows developers to design and create enterprise wide web-based applications. DesignBais supports the creation of design templates. These design templates allow for creation of a standard user interface that can be easily applied throughout an application or its modules. With drop down top menus and side bar menus as a standard feature, user navigation is simple and intuitive.
